What is The Comp App?
The Comp App is a free mobile application that aggregates publicly available information about UK prize competitions. We help you discover, track, and stay informed about competitions from trusted UK sites - all in one place.
Do you run or operate the competitions?
No. We are an information aggregation service only. We do not operate, run, manage, or endorse any of the competitions displayed in the app. All competitions are run by independent third-party websites. We simply collect and display publicly available information to help you find competitions.
Is the app free to use?
Yes, The Comp App is completely free to download and use. You can browse all competitions, save favourites, and receive deadline alerts without paying anything.
How do I enter a competition?
When you find a competition you're interested in, tap "Enter Competition" or the external link to be taken directly to the competition operator's website. You'll enter the competition on their site according to their terms and conditions.
Why do I need to create an account?
Creating an account is optional for browsing, but required if you want to save favourites, sync across devices, and receive deadline alerts. We offer quick sign-in with Apple or email magic links - no passwords required.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from the Settings screen in the app. Go to Profile > Settings > Delete Account. This will permanently remove all your data, including saved favourites and preferences.
The competition information seems wrong - what should I do?
Competition information is sourced from publicly available websites and may occasionally be out of date. Always verify details directly on the competition operator's website before entering. If you notice incorrect information, please contact us and we'll investigate.
I entered a competition and didn't win / had an issue - can you help?
Unfortunately, we cannot help with issues related to specific competitions as we don't operate them. Please contact the competition operator directly. Their contact details should be available on their website. We have no involvement in prize draws, winner selection, or prize fulfillment.
How do I report a suspicious competition?
If you believe a competition may be fraudulent or suspicious, please email us at support@competitiongroup.co.uk with details. We take these reports seriously and will investigate. However, please note that we cannot guarantee the legitimacy of any competition - always do your own research before entering.
